Dashboard notifications alert you when a threshold, as defined in the dashboard, has been crossed. You can receive alerts immediately as they occur or as a digest sent at specific intervals. If you enable alerts for a specific channel of data you can set how many samples outside of your threshold trigger an alert.
Installation notifications alert you when there is a change in the status of a Gateway or Node in your installation. Examples include: when the Gateway goes offline (due to poor internet connectivity or being disconnected from power), when a Node goes down (due to poor signal quality or being disconnected from power), when a module is in a high or low temperature or relative humidity environment, when a sensor is connected or disconnected, or when a AAA battery powered Node needs its batteries replaced.
You can set-up alerts as text messages and/or emails for each Team. You can also decide how many samples of data trigger a notification when data crosses a threshold. A quiet time can also be set to disable alerts during specific hours.
