The Attune Mounting Backplate is used to help easily secure your Attune IAQ or Node to the wall. It can be attached to various kinds of junction boxes or anchored directly into the wall according to the diagram below.
Once the backplate is secured, locate the mounting tabs on the backplate and the mounting holes on the back of the IAQ or Node.
With the IAQ or Node facing out from the wall and angled slightly toward the floor, align the mounting holes with the mounting tabs. Once they slide together, rotate the IAQ or Node towards vertical and it will clip into the top of the mounting backplate.
To remove the unit, use a small flathead screwdriver and insert it into the gap on the topside of the IAQ or Node. Press against the clip feature on the mounting backplate until you feel the unit release.
