Senseware's Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Sensor Packages makes it easy to deploy and monitor a variety of environmental conditions in seconds. These packages can provide the following sensor data depending on your ordered configuration: 

  • Temperature, Relative Humidity

  • Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC)

  • Particulate Matter (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, and total number of counted particle sizes)

  • CO₂

  • Add-on gases: CO, H₂S, SO₂, O₃, NO₂, HCHO (Formaldehyde), Methane

  • Sound

  • Light

  • Motion

  • Vibration

  • Pressure


Plug the Sensor Package into a wall outlet using the provided wall power adapter (4-5 feet above the ground). Mount the IAQ to the wall using the provided command strips.

Note: Be sure to mount the IAQ enclosure vertically, not horizontally, in order to ensure proper airflow for accurate temperature/relative humidity readings when other sensors are present.

Standard Sensors Calibration:

The sensors are all factory calibrated. Once installed, the CO₂ and VOC sensors automatically adjust and will reach full operational accuracy within 24-48 hours, although readings will be available before this time (Read more about ABC algorithm here). The Temperature, Humidity, and PM Sensors do not need to be recalibrated once installed. All the sensors have very low drift and their expected life time is 10 years.

Special Gas Sensors Calibration:

If your Indoor Air Quality bridge is version 3.4.5 then you can manually calibrate your CO, H₂S, SO₂, O₃, and NO₂ sensors to 'zero' when in clean air by performing a hard reset. For other versions of the sensor, please contact Senseware in regards to manually zeroing or spanning the sensor.

Beginning at version 3.4.6. the IAQ bridge will automatically offset using baseline values for CO, H₂S, SO₂, O₃, and NO₂ sensors. Once powered, the minimum values will be measured over increasing periods of time in order to automatically offset the sensor data using the calculated baseline levels. This process will become more accurate the longer the sensor is powered; the process will begin anew if the package gets unpowered. This functionality is not suitable in environments will persistently elevated levels of the measured gas; please contact Senseware if this will be the case to discuss other calibration options.

In version 3.7.0 and above, we switched to a different sensor manufacturer for special gases. The sensors are factory calibrated and they have a life expectancy of 3-10 years, depending on the type of gas.
